Murfreesboro’s signature Classical, Christian school, Redeemer Classical Academy, has announced Feb. 2, 2015, as their opening date for enrollment in the 2015-2016 school year.
“We’re always excited about this time of year and look forward to meeting prospective students and parents alike,” RCA Administrating Instructor Amanda Bell said.
Differing from other private schools in the area, Redeemer Classical Academy focuses on the foundation of the Classical model to help children become life-long learners and independent thinkers.
For those new to the Classical education model, it is based on a three-part process of training the mind. The early years of school are spent absorbing facts. During the middle grades, students learn to think through arguments, and, in the high school years they learn to express themselves well. This classical pattern is called the trivium.
“With our small class sizes, we place a great emphasis on the relationship between the student, teacher, parent and the overall learning experience. Our methods are age-specific and we also combine a spiritual aspect that helps train up a child for future years,” Bell added.
Redeemer Classical Academy welcomes anyone interested in enrollment to contact any instructor or staff member at 615-904-0350.
The school is located at 1503 Sulphur Springs Rd. in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
